Description
AVN-EN0402P is a new generation security network video recorder which is dedicated to offer easy and efficient video recording and remote surveillance solution to your IP video surveillance systems. It’s a 4-channel NVR that can connect with 4 sets of megapixel IP security camera. In addition to supporting 4K/12-megapixel network cameras, it can work with HD cameras which has lower resolution including 720p, 1080p, 3-megapixel, 5-megapixel, 8-megapixel. It offers such a good scalability that can meet the demands of both regular HD and ultra HD video monitoring applications.
By employing high-end Quad-core CPU has a 3D GPU built-in, and an optimized 4K UHD codec engine, the NVR has the capability to decode 2-channels 4K30p video in H.264+ video compression simultaneously. Intending to offer smart and efficient video surveillance solution.
This is a professional NVR, and yet an inexpensive network video recorder helps you to setup a top-notch IP video surveillance system. It’s also a smart video recorder comes with smart video analytics function. The patent smart video analytics 2.0 technology offer object counting, object detection (missing & leaving), region detection, perimeter detection (virtual line detection) which make your IP surveillance system become smarter and more efficient.
AVN-EN0402P has four independent Ethernet ports which support Power over Ethernet technology. The PoE technology can allow your security cameras bypass the network switches and directly connect to the NVR. Data and power supply can be transmitted via an Ethernet cable. The PoE can not only offer centralized power supply for easy maintenance, but also make the installation become more easier, which in turn, greatly reduce the installation cost.
Is this NVR suitable to your IP cameras? Today, the most majority of IP cameras and NVRs comply with ONVIF standard. This NVR is compliant with ONVIF version 2.4 / Profile S specification, it offers great interoperability hence it works with up to IP cameras from more than 1000 third-party manufacturers.
Why the PoE NVR is better than a regular one?
There are many things we should take into consideration when we plan to setup an IP video surveillance system. In addition to cost and functionality, we usually opt to a system that easy to install and use. Both WiFi and PoE technology can help to simplify the installation and reduce the cost. However, compare the WiFi, PoE owns many unique advantages for instance, the PoE can support data transmission distance reaches up to 100 meters, while WiFi’s signal coverage usually is limited within 20-30 meters. PoE can offer stable and reliable connection, as WiFi wireless signal is easy to be interfered.
PoE technology allows your IP cameras to obtain power supply from the NVR directly rather than using extra power cords to transmit electrical current from a different power source. Doing so minimizes the number of wires that should be connected to install the IP security system. It means that you can save on wirings, not so much of a hassle, easy to install due to less complexity than traditional wiring. Thus, resulting in lower cost installation because of its dual cord function using less wires. Power over Ethernet reduces the demand for electricians to install conductive, electrical system and outlets throughout the business.
Smart NVR with video analytics
Through event and action management, this H.264+ NVR allows users to set various events and actions for instant alert. It also has incorporated with smart video analytics, for instance, users can draw a detecting region, once an unauthorized people enters the region, the NVR will alert users by set off an alarm. Despite the region detection, this other video analytics function including motion detection, object counting, perimeter detection, object detection. Thanks to the smart video analytics 2.0 technology, it makes your IP surveillance system become smarter and more efficient, it also can increase the productivity of your business.

Why choose the H.264+ NVR?
H.264+ is the latest video compression standard which is proved to reduce bitrate and storage consumption by as much as 50 percent from H.264. This means if you have a 2MP network camera and it records 24 hours, it consumes approximate 50GB of storage in H.264 standard. Under the new standard – H.264+, it uses only 25GB.

As H.264+ system can reduce 50% bitrate than H.264, users can save half of the cost on storage and get batter image quality over constrained bandwidth. H.264+ enables users to consider deploying more cameras at the same resolution and frame rate without placing a burden on bandwidth and storage.
What benefits can we get from 4K resolution?
4K resolution is four times higher than 1080p resolution, which means a 4K IP camera can cover the area that equals 4 sets of 1080P security cameras. On the other hand, if the viewing angle is the same, 4K video can provide 4 times clearer image than the 1080p video. By deploying 4K resolution video surveillance system, your system is able to capture crystal clear image with high clarity, and it provides great details to identify criminals, recognize people’s face, capture the vehicle plate license number.

Advantages of smart video analytics
Smart video analytics not only can make your IP surveillance system become smarter and efficient. It also can add value and increase the productivity to your business. Our smart video analytics can work independently, it works with your common IP cameras that may not support smart function. Smart video analytics enable the NVR to be the tailored solution for multiple applications.

Product FAQs
1. The 16 4K video recorder can save how long?
How long a video recording can record or how long a video can be stored depends on many factors, such as recording mode, recording resolution, video frame rate and video bit rate, which are very important factors. If the NVR has two 6TB drives installed, the 16 NVR can be stored for about 9 days at 4K resolution and in 24-hour recording mode.
2. Is the NVR compatible with normal IPC?
Yes, the VCR is compatible with normal IP C and can be connected to non-H.265, such as H.264 / MJPEG webcams. And NVR’s intelligent analysis capabilities are done independently by the NVR, so it can be implemented on a regular camera.
3. What kind of processor is this NVR used?
The 16CH 4K NVR incorporates HiSilicon’s Hi3798M V200 4K multimedia processor. The processor is a built-in quad-core Cortex A53 processor (15K DMIPS), built-in 3D Arm Mali-450 image processor, and Hass dual-core GPU, the maximum 4K 60 frames H.265 / VP9 video decoding, 4K 30 frames video encoding capability.
4. How to choose monitor for this NVR?
Our smart NVRs come with an HDMI interface for audio and video transmission up to 4K video resolution. However, the NVR does not have a VGA port. When selecting a monitor, make sure that the monitor is equipped with an HDMI port and that the minimum resolution is 1080P or Full HD.
